Aura Sanchez Garrido performs as an actress for Spanish films and television. She was in movies including Stockholm as well as the TV show El Ministerio Del Tiempo. Garrido born in Madrid 1989 was a painter and composer. Her father Tomas Garrido is a composer and conductor of orchestras, while her mother, Pilar Sanchez is a painter. Her first piano lesson was at the age of four. Ballet was her first love shortly after. As a child, she was blessed with an English-speaking acquaintance. Her high-school studies over, she went to the Real Escuela Superior DE Arte Dramatico in Madrid. There she studied interpretation for three years, specialising in textual translation. But she quit at the end of 2010 after she secured the role of Planes para manana. The film won her an award of Silver Biznaga in the Best Supporting Actress category and also an honorary nomination for Goya Awards' best debut actress.
