She became the youngest female to be selected in 2007 to compete in the US Women's Open. While she did not win, in 2007 she won the Aldila Junior Classic and became the second. She was the youngest American Junior Golf Association (AJGA) athlete to take home the award, as well as taking home the Westfield Junior PGA Championship as the youngest to win so at the time.
