The singer was born on the 26th of November 1986 on the 26th of November, 1986 in Santa Monica California in the United States of America. She is the daughter of her father Vincenzo Barba and her mother Valerie Barba. When she was six, the family relocated to Point Pleasant New Jersey. Red Bank Catholic High School was where she got her education formal in New Jersey. Then she attended Catholic University, where she earned a bachelor's degree in architecture. She began playing violin when she was four years old, and she was known by the name Violin Girl. Due to her musical performance, she was referred to as Violin Girl. She also taught kids from the locality how to play the violin. She sang Free from 1976 in the auditions for American Idol's sixth season, at the age of 19. The show eliminated her after the 16th rank. The singer has also performed other songs like 'The Christmas Song (2009) and Out for Blood (2010).
